Lola Lennox | Special Performance

Lola Lennox is a singer songwriter from London, whose powerful voice resonates through her unique and highly personal songs.

Singing since she was just 8 years old, at 18 Lola attended London’s prestigious Royal Academy of Music, only to withdraw to instead pursue her dream of being a singer songwriter. Inspired by artists like Etta James, Dusty Springfield and Lauryn Hill, Lola connects the feel of old school Soul records into fresh and authentic Pop songs. She has written with some of the world’s greatest songwriters and producers including Eg White (Florence and The Machine, Sam Smith) and Dan Wilson (Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’).

Lola's debut single ‘In The Wild’, co-written and produced by Jon Green tells a story of fantasy and escape amidst a difficult reality. “For me making music has always been a way to translate whatever I am going through in life into something of beauty and meaning- I can turn dust to gold.”

Lola has performed at major venues and events around the world including Vogue’s Fashion Experience Dubai, The Fonda Theatre (supporting Lukas Nelson & The Promise of Real), at Vancouver’s Roger’s Arena and as a backing singer to Annie Lennox on the PBS televised series ‘Great Performances’ at The Orpheum Theatre Los Angeles. In summer 2019, Lola will be featured as the musical voice of the highly anticipated TV series ‘Serengeti’- with music composed by Will Gregory of Goldfrapp. The series will be aired around the world on The Discovery Channel and the BBC.

Now residing in Los Angeles and represented by Simon Fuller, Lola spends her days writing and recording her upcoming debut record. “Making music has always been a way for me to dig deep into myself and the world around me; I found strength in my voice, I found magic through sound, I’ve unpicked the labyrinth of my heart and mind through song- and I cannot wait to share it with you.”
